Duties included collaborating with business users to translate the requirements into technical feature specifications, feature implementation and testing, defect resolution, data loading implementation and maintenance and product release planning.
The largest features implemented included adding the ability to look up transition and default statistics on unrated companies, to compare it with the benchmark data and to provide graphical representation of the data and creating a daily company financial data load to be used in the company scoring process integrating Capital IQ Data API functionality.
Responsibilities included new feature implementation and testing, database design and implementation, development environment setup, defect resolutions and close interactions with the product users to conduct product releases and provide product support.
The largest features implemented allowed the users to manage data archiving through GUI for database performance improvement, to access the product’s core functionality remotely for workflow automation and to use a single XML file for invoking a series of remote calls and determining the workflow. From March 2011 to September 2011 (7 months) Software Engineer @ Worked on development of ReporterAnalyzer – the network traffic analysis module of the NetQoS Performance Center that gives insight into how application traffic impacts network performance.
Worked on development of SuperAgent – the application performance management module of the NetQoS Performance Center that tracks and measures end-user response time without desktop or server agents.
Duties included various feature planning, implementation and testing, defect resolution and product release planning.
The largest features implemented allowed the product to be SNMPv3 compatible, to incorporate the concept of domains in all of the core functionality and to be automatically configurable so it would be able to detect all of server-application traffic in the defined networks with minimal user interaction. From January 2009 to March 2011 (2 years 3 months) Software Engineering Intern @ Worked as a part of IOU development team that implemented Cisco IOS on Unix using C++. Detected and corrected memory-related problems in dIOU Phase II code using Purify tool.
Implemented a feature that allowed for backward and forward packet compatibility between the router processors and the line cards.
