The goal of this team was to improve the foundations of the platform, mainly by decoupling first tier dependencies. From October 2013 to August 2014 (11 months) Dublin IrelandSoftware dev @ From July 2013 to October 2013 (4 months) Intern Software Engineer @ • Working as part of a software development team which is focusing on low power system on a chip (SoC). The project covers many different aspects from Linux kernel and driver development up to automated defect reporting. This also means a larger range of technologies are used e.g. C, C#, Java, Python as well as database interaction with both Sql Server and MySql. • Lead developer and maintainer of defect tracking reports from Rational Team Concert (RTC). This involved using Java Plain API for RTC and Microsoft Excel to produce easy to read and understand reports for each area of the development team. • Coordinating development of new plugins required by the development group for RTC which are developed by seperate development team. This required use of my organisation and communication skills to make sure that the plugin met the requirements of the group and was delivered on schedule • Use of HP Quality Center, for development of automated testing scripts and reporting of the nightly test runs. This involved use of C# and python to produce an e-mail that is sent to everyone on the development team each morning with result of the nightly test runs From July 2012 to June 2013 (1 year) Ireland
