As a co-founder of the company, Rich was VP of R&D as the startup developed the product portfolio. Responsible for product development as well as FDA clearance required to take the products to market.
Rich then transitioned to COO to oversee operations and startup of manufacturing in 2007. In 2008, Rich moved into the CEO role to lead the team in taking the products to the market.
Heavily involved in executive selling, positioning the company in the market space, marketing strategies, as well as ongoing operations and expansions of product line and R&D. From November 2008 to February 2011 (2 years 4 months) General Manager - Respiratory @ From 1995 to 2005 (10 years) General Manager @ 21 years at DeVilbiss Healthcare / Sunrise Medical at various positions through engineering, product management and general management.
Rich started with DeVilbiss in 1984 in the R&D group. After 10 years of product development, he moved into the product management role. Responsible for the PulmoAide product and other aerosol brands, making up the largest portion of the company's revenue. Rich was charged with marketing strategies, brand management, pricing, P&L for the business segment and overall product road map.
Rich then became VP of Marketing for DeVilbiss, now a division of Sunrise Medical and headed Marketing and Product Management for Sunrises respiratory business, including oxygen and sleep apnea products.
For the last 6 years Rich was at DeVilbiss / Sunrise, he was President / General Manager of this global division of Sunrise. From 1984 to 2005 (21 years)
