Design and supervise layout of various analog sub-blocks used in continous-time sigma-delta ADCs.Perform system level debug. Proficient in perl, unix, Cadence Analog design environment. From 2004 to January 2009 (5 years) Manager, Analog/RF ESD Design @ Freescale Semiconductor Established an ESD Design Group supporting Smart Power and rfbicmos IC technologies. Led the development of ESD protection devices and circuits. Delivered pad libraries and consulting to the IC product development groups. Authored ESD guidelines and DRCs. Authored latch-up design rules. Seven ESD related patents issued. From 1996 to 2004 (8 years) Manager, Device Modeling and Characterization @ Freescale Semiconductor Responsible for delivering spice-type model libraries for power and RF bicmos technologies. Developed robust measurement and parameter extraction techniques. Created software infrastructure for automated on-wafer measurement and model parameter extraction systems. Familiar with high frequency S-parameter measurement techniques. From 1992 to 1996 (4 years) Statistical IC Simulation @ Freescale Semiconductor Worked on a pilot project which developed a statistical simulation tool. The team sucessfully predicted the statistical variability of a production OP-Amp. This simulation methodology is still in use today (within Freescale). From 1988 to 1992 (4 years)
