I recognized the potential of software development over five years ago, and since, I've tried to introduce myself to new technologies as often as I can. Currently, I am passionate about the intersection between Computer Science and Biology, especially regarding ways software can improve health on the micro and macro levels. I am also interested in creating a culture wherein Computer Science education becomes the norm in areas currently lacking the resources to introduce the field.

iOS Engineering Internship @ Worked on two high-impact projects. The first was implementing a phone registration flow for the client, which launched in early August. The second involved understanding several aspects of the Instagram application and fundamentally changing how certain users can use the app. It should be launching after beta testing finishes in late October. From June 2015 to September 2015 (4 months) Software Engineer Internship @ Utilized Facebook's PHP and Javascript frameworks to implement redesigns of the profile picture creation flow on the desktop and mobile sites. From June 2014 to September 2014 (4 months) FBU Intern @ Received training in iOS development, then developed a location-dependent event finding application with two other interns. From July 2013 to September 2013 (3 months)
