CFO/DGS Manager @ WDH owns three companies in Sweden focusing on distributing and selling hearing related equipment. The Swedish business has a turnover of approx. 250 MSEK and approx. 230 employees working in 42 clinics and HQ. My main focus has been to manage three major projects; Find new, common, office for three companies and move businesses to new location. Analyze current roles and processes within finance, HR, payroll, IT, logistics and service and set up new, common, organization (Shared service) to support all three companies. Redirect order-, repair- and return flows from local wholesale company to global HUB in Poland. All three projects have been successfully executed. From March 2015 to Present (9 months) Stockholm, SwedenInterim CFO @ Silva Group develops, manufactures and sells outdoor products including compasses and headlamps. Products are distributed in a global market. The company has its own manufacturing facilities in China and subsidiaries in Scotland and Norway focusing on sales. Silva has a turnover of approx. 130 MSEK and about 130 employees. In the CFO role, I have the main responsibility for accounting, controlling, IT and HR. My main task is to maintain the role of CFO until a new CFO has been hired. From May 2014 to February 2015 (10 months) Stockholm, SwedenCFO @ Norstedts is Sweden’s second largest publishing firm. The company has a turnover of approx. 500 MSEK and 140 people employed. During my time in the company I mainly focused on the budget process 2014 as well as a project focusing on making the organization efficient and reducing costs. Due to structural changes within the company the CFO position was removed and, consequently, I was dismissed. I had responsibility for royalty department and all matters concerning office and premises. From May 2013 to April 2014 (1 year) Stockholm, SwedenCFO @ TNS is worldwide market leader for surveys. TNS-Sifo has a turnover of approx. 65 M$ and 300 people employed. I was responsible for centralizing finance and salary function to the Stockholm office as well as implementing push reporting to management team. The position also included responsibility for compliance with SOA/SOX regulations. From May 2011 to April 2013 (2 years) Stockholm, SwedenNordic CFO @ Essilor is the worldwide leader of eyeglass lenses. Essilor Nordic had a turnover of approx. 60 M€ 2009 and has 225 employees. My career within Essilor ended after 6 months due to reorganization where the Nordic region was merged with the Benelux region. From September 2010 to May 2011 (9 months) Stockholm, SwedenHead of finance (Ekonomichef) @ Canal Digital Sverige AB is owned by Telenor ASA. Canal Digital had a turnover of approx. 1.800 MSEK 2009 and approx. 100 employees. During my time in Canal Digital the finance department was centralized to Stockholm. During the winter and spring of 2006 I was project leader for implementing new financial system (Oracle), new reporting system and outsourcing of accounting services. The project was successfully launched in April 2006. I also had the main responsibility for implementing a rigorous system for cost control in the company. This resulted in a better understanding of cost control and a reduction in costs. I was also part of a project implementing balanced scorecard. The position as head of finance also included responsibility legal and regulatory matters. From October 2003 to September 2010 (7 years) Stockholm, SwedenNordic CFO @ Thorn Scandinavia had subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The group had a turnover of approx. 1.500 MSEK and had 350 employees. I was responsible for building a Nordic finance department in Copenhagen to serve all countries. At the same time I also had to close down the finance departments in Sweden and Norway. In the same time frame the group changed finance system, which I also was responsible for. The projects were successfully finished during my time in the company. From August 2002 to July 2003 (1 year) Copenhagen Area, DenmarkChief accountant @ From the start my main objectives were creating a better team spirit in the finance department and also to create more efficient procedures. I was also responsible for implementing a new finance system. This was accomplished successfully. From August 2001 to August 2002 (1 year 1 month) Stockholm, SwedenChief accountant @ The owners of Informator, Bure Equity AB, purchased a number of small companies during 1999 and 2000. The companies were mergered and Informator Training Group was the result. My main objective from the start was to create a finance department adapted to the new company. This included recruitment, setting up relevant procedures and creating a finance model for follow up and evaluation of financial result. The position also included responsibility for consolidation. I was also responsible for a couple of due diligence processes. From June 2000 to August 2001 (1 year 3 months) Stockholm, SwedenAudit assistant @ SET was a well established accounting firm with offices in different parts of Sweden. I had the main responsibility for environmental auditing in the firm. I worked with clients ranging from public companies to small companies. Examples of companies that I worked with are ICA Handlarnas AB, Försäkringsbolaget AFA and Hexagon.
