Paul Carpenter is the Manager of Environmental Information and Reporting with the Environmental Affairs and Real Estate group at ArcelorMittal, the largest mining and steel manufacturer in the world. Paul manages all aspects of ArcelorMittal USA’s environmental data management and quality assurance for agency, NGO, internal and global reporting including, air, water, waste, TRI and sustainability key performance indicators.
Mr. Carpenter’s origins were in Information Technology (IT) from enterprise JD Edwards ERP implementations to supporting the internal infrastructure in drug wholesale and manufacturing organizations. With over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field and subsequent environmental experience Mr. Carpenter helped to bridge the gap between IT and environmental to more effectively mitigate risk, save money and continue superior compliance in an already exemplary environmental program.
