Patrick is currently the Director of Manufacturing Operations for the Medtronic Tempe Campus (MTC) in Tempe, Arizona. Patrick has been in his current role since 2008 and oversees the Hybrid Electronic Assembly and Test, IC Probe, Die Prep, Logistics and Planning operations for implantable microelectronics for Medtronic.
Patrick began his career at Medtronic in June, 1990 as a Sr. Process Engineer in the Metalized Ceramics operation. Since joining Medtronic, Patrick has held several leadership positions including the Engineering Manager and Department Manager for the Metalized Ceramics operation prior to becoming the Director of Hybrid Assembly and Test in 2001. Prior to joining Medtronic, Patrick was a Research Engineer for the Norton Company in Akron, Ohio.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Ceramic Engineering degrees from Alfred University in New York. Patrick also holds an MBA from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Patrick has been a member of the Tempe YMCA Board of Directors, the executive staff sponsor for the Diversity and Inclusion Council and holds several US patents. He lives in the Ahwatukee community in Phoenix, AZ with his wife Paula and their three sons, James, John and Brian.
