Medinstill is dedicated to the invention, development and commercialization of technologies for sterile closed transfer and delivery of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutrition products From October 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) Consultant @ Sages Consult Ltd is a group of management and economic consultants in Lagos, Nigeria with areas of specialization in education sector human resource capacity building and training, public and private sector project design, monitoring and evaluation and urban development economics.
Projects I directly participated-in include:
(1) Socioeconomic sector project on poverty mapping across the 36 states and Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria.
(2) Situational analysis of the education sector in 2 states in Nigeria and evaluation of the commissioning Foundation's engagement and impact in the sector.
(3) Information gathering and project planning for an innovative approach to the delivery of mobility aids to the disabled poor in Lagos State.
(4) State level monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of international development agency school development grant. From October 2013 to September 2014 (1 year) Postdoctoral Research Fellow @ My work involved the use of finite element analysis (FEA), computer automated design (CAD), custom experimental protocols and rapid manufacturing techniques to develop prosthetic devices for highly active individuals with transfemoral amputations. From February 2011 to September 2013 (2 years 8 months) Graduate Research Assistant @ The goals of my thesis project were:
(1) to perform fascicle scale experiments on human Achilles tendon
(2) to analyze tensile test data using novel viscoelastic models and
(3) to develop 3-D computational models of fibrous tendons that begin to account for fiber-to-fiber sliding and other physiological non-affine deformations From June 2006 to September 2010 (4 years 4 months) Graduate Research Assistant @ My project involved an assessment of the feasibility of electromyography(EMG) as control signal for an active, upper limb exoskeleton assistive orthotic device for children with neuromuscular disease From January 2006 to June 2006 (6 months) Undergraduate Summer Intern @ (1) Designed miniature testing fixtures to determine the material properties of structural ceramics
(2) Analyzed fractured surfaces of ceramics to determine mode and initiation of fracture
(3) Performed probability analysis on fractured ceramic samples From July 2004 to October 2004 (4 months)
