Nicola’s skills and experience make her an ideal member of Law Staff’s Executive Recruitment Team, working closely with other Senior Client Advisors in the sourcing and appointment of qualified lawyers. In terms of her formal qualifications, Nicola was accepted into Bond University where she completed her Bachelor of Laws and went on to complete the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through QUT, gaining admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2010. Nicola has also completed subjects towards a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business. Nicola has worked in the legal profession since 2006, both pre- and post-admission, with the last 4 ½ years of her career through to July 2013 in a mid-tier Brisbane CBD firm, ultimately culminating in Associateship in October 2010. Joining Law Staff in September 2013, Nicola now utilises her collective qualifications and experience to help her understand the resourcing needs of a legal team, targeting her energies on the recruitment of: - Entry Level Lawyers to Senior Associates - In-House Lawyers (locally and nationally) - Contract Lawyers (from 1 to 12 months) Nicola also assists in the recruitment of Shared Services Staff including: - Legal Admin | Support Staff - Legal Human Resources Practitioners - Legal Business Development Professionals - Legal Knowledge Managers On a personal note, Nicola gives back to the community helping to raise money for the Cancer Council Queensland and has sponsored a World Vision Child since 2001.
