JustGiving owns the world's largest database of giving and we utilise that data in an intelligent way to increase people's propensity to give by matching people with causes they care about. JustGiving aims to ensure that no great cause, anywhere in the world, goes unfunded. My role is to ensure the legal and financial framework of the company are world class and, in doing so, ensure that JustGiving is the world's most trusted "crowdfunding for good platform". Having been at JustGiving for over 9 years, I have been a key part of the global leadership team and enabled the company to move from a small successful start-up to being the world's most trusted social giving platform. I oversee the financial, legal and administrative functions globally. My key achievements are: - Helping to redesign the funds management platform (including the underlying accounting postings) in its entirety to ensure optimum scalability (in 2014 alone the platform accounted for donations of $580m) - Negotiating and finalising the sale of a U.S. Subsidiary to a PE backed payment processor - Procuring unsecured bank funding for the business in its critical (and loss making) start up phase which enabled the business to increase its rate of growth and therefore its investment in the platform - Embedding key anti-fraud and verification processes, and understanding global legislation, for both charity and non-charity fundraising - Securing numerous key partnership deals to ramp up the business' rate of growth and improve its global scalability, including PayPal, Worldpay and Barclays.

I'm an energetic,multi-disciplined leader who loves working in high growth, challenging technology businesses. Having worked with a mix of fast paced technology start-ups and mature professional services companies, I have a strong understanding of how to grow businesses quickly in a scalable and sustainable way. I'm proud to have been a key part of the leadership team at JustGiving from its early days as a relatively unknown UK start-up to its current position as the world's largest and most trusted social giving platform for charitable causes and personal crowdfunding. I am proud to have been selected as "One of the UK's Top 20 FDs to watch" in 2013. I live in the countryside with my wife and two great children, with a third child on the way.CFO @ JustGiving is the world's social platform for giving, enabling over 24 million people in 164 countries to raise $3billion for over 12,000 charities since launch.
