I am an interaction designer with a background in visual design, development and the basics of motion design. I enjoy finding the best way to solve a problem and have the chosen media be in direct response to that. By studying the way people interact with technology and how it effects their daily lives, I find it easier to be able to design for the user.
Interaction Designer @ From March 2015 to Present (10 months) Jr. Interaction Designer @ From July 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) Junior Design Intern @ While at Sequence, I was asked to be a part of the team in making wireframes and design concepts for multiple clients. I was able to meet face to face with clients and present my work. Sequence is a smaller company full of extremely intelligent people. I grew so much as a designer, presenter and general thinker during this internship. From September 2013 to December 2013 (4 months) San Francisco Bay AreaDigital Design Co-op @ Worked with a small team of designers and developers to make beautiful experiences for a number of clients. I worked on everything from concepting motion pieces and story boarding, to designing mobile experiences, to flash banner campaigns, to working in Cinema 4d. While working closely with the top designers and the development team, I learned a lot about the process of designing, and the process to make those designs real experiences. From January 2013 to April 2013 (4 months) Greater New York City AreaFull Time Paid Co-op @ Designed websites and worked on interactive e-learning flash projects. Learned to work closely with clients and fellow employees. Worked on various projects, one being an interactive RV named MARV. From April 2011 to December 2011 (9 months) Co-op @ Worked with a large team of designers on many different projects. I helped to design Flash and HTML websites. I learned the challenge of decorative typefaces in layouts with a western themed website. I also was a part of the e-learning team, in which we made educational courses in Flash. Since Real Art is also more of an experimental design firm, I also was a part of the team that made an interactive experience that was projected on the back window of a 1970s RV, named MARV, who interviews students at colleges all around the United States. From April 2010 to December 2010 (9 months) Dayton, Ohio AreaAssistant Sales @ Newly developed vintage clothing store located in Over-the-Rhine.; Ran the online Etsy store for Atomic Number Ten. In charge of shipping the product to the customers, including international ones. Took pictures of inventory, uploaded the images to the website and wrote a description of the item. From June 2010 to September 2010 (4 months)
