From January 2011 to March 2013 (2 years 3 months) Independent Consultant (Contractor--multiple assignments) @ Worked on a long-term contract basis with Kraft Foods/Nabisco as their in-house recruiter. In his role I created a pipeline for volume union hourly recruiting, as well as hiring for skilled trades, the distribution center, engineering, supply chain and other management and operational positions.

o The 2010 Audit, the first after 10 years without being audited externally, was cancelled after the initial fact-finding stage. Internal reports submitted by Kraft corporate offices regarding our local recruiting showed no adverse impact in our hiring practices. From this process developed “Employment Services Toolkit” to establish service standards and a method to track performance
o Selected for a 15 member global project management team to identify a new applicant tracking system. Attended several meetings in Paris, France, as well as coordinated a U.S. meeting in Richmond, Virginia, for all U.S. recruiters.
o Managed four direct reports. Introduced new recruiting processes and provided the first-ever recruiting metrics. Reduced time to fill from 186 days to 140 days, an improvement of 25%.
