I studied architecture at Greenwich and Kingston Universities in London and have a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Project Management. Since joining the industry in 1999 I have gained extensive experience in the private sector working on and leading a wide range of completed commercial schemes of all sizes which include both refurbishment and new build projects ranging in value from 1‐80 million GBP.
At the start of my career I spent 11 years working for John Clark Associates Architects and was invited to become a partner when the firm changed to an LLP in 2008. After JCA ceasing trading in 2010 I worked for developer Urban Matrix in Surrey for two years before being asked to head the architecture division at Mylo Group in Kurdistan having first provided design consultancy services for the company in summer 2010. I had an interesting and rewarding experience working for the Mylo Group in Erbil from November 2012 to April 2014 before returning to the UK in September 2014 due to the increasingly difficult socio‐economic conditions which were developing in Iraq.
On my return I joined Ardmore Group as a Design Manager on one of their large mixed residential projects before being offered my current position in February 2015 working for ISG in their Major Projects Division working on prestigious HQ commercial fit‐outs in London.

Mylo Group has offices in Erbil and also the Middle East business hub Dubai, which enables it to act as a gateway for international companies looking to form links with Iraq.
Position – Mylo Group primarily manage the assets of the Diyar Group and my role was to work as lead consultant and overall design manager to the family on their numerous construction projects which included shopping malls (Mane Mall 2,000,000 sqft), hotels (50 Bedroom) and housing developments (5,000 residential units in Maysan) throughout Iraq. Alongside this role my team was involved in joint venture bids for government projects with a number of international companies as well as working in a design consultant capacity on independent projects for local and international companies in the region. Position – Due to my commercial experience I was tasked with overseeing three interlinked projects (Care Home, Tennis & Golf Club, Residential development) in Esher, Surrey. The projects have a combined construction cost of approx. £20,000,000 and due to the complexity of the projects I was required to work closely with the design team, local authorities, investors, end users and local residents to ensure a successful and satisfactory outcome for all parties. From August 2010 to November 2012 (2 years 4 months) Director @ WBG Design was set up to fulfill our ongoing commitments to JCA clients and projects. This included work on the proposed refurbishment and extension of 119 Farringdon Road (Grade II listed) and the Galpharm Stadium Redevelopment.
