Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer/Consultant/Owner @ I started Tigunia, LLC, in 2007 as a venue for my personal consulting. Over the years, it has grown into a Dynamics NAV Solution Center-like consulting practice with several extremely senior NAV resources that I have worked with over the years. Our philosophy is to provide all of the services that a traditional Microsoft Partner can provide but faster, better, less expensive and without the downsides (e.g. bullsh*t) of those types of organizations. Those of you who have worked with the NAV Partner Network know what I am referring to. The consultants of Tigunia, LLC, are graduates of the traditional Microsoft Partner network. We have a collective 85 Microsoft certifications for Dynamics NAV as well as 100+ years of experience having worked for hundreds of clients. We also have high level expertise with related technologies, SQL Server and Microsoft .NET, for the sake of better support and integration with Dynamics NAV. From October 2013 to Present (2 years 1 month) Evergreen, COCTO / Lead Dynamics NAV Developer @ Brighton Cromwell, LLC, based in Randolph, NJ, is a fast growing non-lethal parts supplier to the U.S. Department of Defense and also serves a significant commercial market. Responsibilities included development and support of all systems for all wholly-owned subsidiaries of Brighton Cromwell, LLC, which include aerospace and web-based sales divisions. Technologies included Windows networking, SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, EDI, telecommunications, and general infrastructure. From January 2012 to October 2013 (1 year 10 months) Randolph, NJ / Evergreen, COImplementer / Sr. Developer @ SCS, Inc. is the largest U.S. West Coast-based Microsoft Dynamics NAV (a.k.a. Navision Financials) Solution Center. Responsibilities included discovery, design, implementation, development, training, testing and support for all team clients. Primary assignment included a full NAV 2009 R2 reimplementation with significant customization and systems integration for Brighton Cromwell, a parts supplier to the Department of Defense. From July 2011 to December 2011 (6 months) Santa Monica, CAConsultant / Developer @ ArcherPoint is a national and top ranked Microsoft Dynamics NAV (a.k.a. Navision Financials) solution center that provides technical/functional consulting and development (programming) services for clients that utilize the software to control business processes such as Financials, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing and Manufacturing. Responsibilities involved completing assignments for clients that included any combination of technical or functional consulting and/or development work. Roles included requirements discovery, system design and user training. Microsoft MBS Certifications in Installation/Configuration, Solution Development and Warehousing. Completed assignments included a full Advanced Warehousing implementation for AeroGrow International (distributor of hydroponic gardens), data migration, miscellaneous development and infrastructure consulting for TransAxle, Inc. (remanufacturer of heavy truck transmissions), web store to Dynamics NAV automated interfaces for multiple clients, Advanced Warehousing/Manufacturing enhancements for Nissin Foods, USA, Warehousing/Distribution/Shipping for Amsino International (medical supplies), Warehousing/Shipping/Receiving/Automated Data Capture System (ADCS)/EDI for Unger Enterprises (cleaning supplies). Significant experience with EDI, automation, and Lanham and Beck Consulting add-ons. From March 2008 to July 2011 (3 years 5 months) Norcross, GAOwner / Consultant @ Provided systems consulting services for small and medium sized companies in the areas of Networking, Development, Infrastructure and Desktop Support, Database Administration, and Telecommunications. GoVideo was previously known as Sensory Science Corporation, then sold to SONICblue, then bought back as Opta Systems, DBA GoVideo. My title changed over the years, depending on ownership, but my roles remained essentially the same. Initially hired as Chief Information Officer for Sensory Science Corporation. Most recent roles were that of Director of the Information Technology Department, Senior Systems Architect and Programmer, Telecommunications Manager, Network Manager, EDI Systems Manager and Web Developer. Managed staff of 3 supporting 120 users. For a 15-month period while the company was owned by SONICblue, my title was Project Manager.
Departmental efforts included application development and support utilizing Microsoft tools (Windows networking, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Internet Information Server, Visual Basic, Active Server Pages) and Navision Financials, including construction of multiple automated interfaces to connect independent financial, shipping, customer and e-commerce systems. Also responsible for procurement and budget of all systems-related material for all departments. Development projects included a multiple module Customer Relations Manager built with Microsoft Access and MS SQL Server, which was utilized by Customer Service for a 25-person call center, Marketing, Returns, Receiving, Service/Repair, Quality Control, EDI, Product Development, Distribution and Information Technology. Successfully completed upgrade of Navision Financials from 8-year-old version with entirely in-house resources. From September 1999 to July 2005 (5 years 11 months) Scottsdale, AZVice President, Corporate Information Systems @ Responsibilities include: Business analysis, design, implementation, project management, maintenance and procurement of all internal systems for $300 million data communications company that manufactures Point of Sale and Networking products. Systems include Desktop/LAN/WAN, telephone systems, business applications, telecommunications and application development for corporate headquarters and multiple remote sites. Formally established Information Systems Department and I.S. Help Desk in July 1995 supporting 50 users and two department members. Grown to manage staff of 23 supporting approx. 1200 users in 21 sites worldwide. Budget: $8 million.
Designed and installed all desktop, LAN/WAN, e-mail, phone systems and multiple business systems. Designed and managed reconstruction of topology and cabling around ethernet switching technology. Developed and documented corporate standards and I.S. technical and domestic procurement procedures. Managed multiple major expansion/construction projects, including the Corporate Data Center.
