GBC was a global consulting business operated out of Belgium, which Atos acquired through SEMA. Responsible for ramping down this atypical business, including finance, HR, legal and commercial aspects. Top leader Atos Consulting Global June 2010 – June 2011 Lead the global Atos Consulting transformation program in parallel with local responsibilities. This activity consisted of detecting and promoting best practices and harmonizing consulting operations in Europe. From September 2006 to June 2012 (5 years 10 months) CIO @ CIO Oct. 2002 – Feb. 2006 Build a SAP focused IT organization including a SAP competency center of 30 people in Bulgaria. Reduced the number of transactional systems from 20 different systems to 1 central SAP system. Reduced the net IT spend from 26 Mio Euro OPEX in 2002 to 21 Mio Euro in 2006. Reduced the total IT headcount from 200 people (including consultants) in 2002 to 137 people in 2006 through internal transfers. Reduced the total number of applications from 157 to 11. Converted the European systems and procedures into a European model with central ownership. Increased internal customer satisfaction from IT being perceived as a bottleneck into IT being perceived as a strength of the organization in Europe. Lead the SAP based business transformation in a Toller-Principal (central ownership) business model. Lead the transformation program for the optimization of the supply chain / logistics platforms (distribution centers) to facilitate the improvement of end-customer satisfaction and save logistic costs. SAP implementation at GE Bayer Silicones Partner in charge of a team of 35 Deloitte consultants and 35 internal team members. Scope : SAP R/3 FI, CO, MM, WM, QM, SD, PP, EHS, BW for 200+ users in Netherlands and Germany. SAP implementation at Schneider Electric Project manager of the preparation phase of the SAP implementation for 400 users in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. SAP implementation at Monsanto Project manager of a team of 34 Deloitte consultants and 200 internal team members for 2000 users in Europe. The project went live on 02/11/98 with all SAP modules available at that moment. SAP implementation at Sumitomo Chemical Project manager of a team of 8 consultants and 3 internal team members implementing SAP R/3 FI, CO, MM, WM, SD for 30 users in Belgium, Germany and UK. From December 1996 to September 2002 (5 years 10 months) SAP Practice Leader @ Started SAP consulting practice for CSC from scratch. Hired consultants, sold and delivered the first assignments.
