From October 2014 to October 2015 (1 year 1 month) Replenishment Analyst @ Academy Sports + Outdoors In charge of replenishment to stores across the entire chain. Monitored weekly in-stocks and worked closely with the Assistant Buyer to make sure stores were in stock for advertising and regional promotions. Created/tracked replenishment orders based on current need. From June 2014 to October 2014 (5 months) Executive Assistant/CAD Drafter @ TomorrowPlanning Inc. I scheduled the Principal's meetings, answered his emails and calls. I did the IT and administrative work around the office. I went to meetings and did walk throughs of buildings with the Principal and took notes and did punch lists. From April 2008 to July 2013 (5 years 4 months) Scouting Intern @ Houston Rockets As a scouting intern, I kept up with the players that the Rockets were looking at in college, D league and NBA. I also scheduled and coordinated all of the scout's travel schedules. Assists Buyer in selecting advertised items for print, digital and social media. Analyzes past advertising results to determine go forward strategies. Works closely with Buyer in product line reviews to select items for future season assortments. Analyzes past performance and suggests ways to make successful items more impactful, through merchandise presentation in planogram and in impact areas. Identifies unsuccessful items to exit by analyzing key metrics, including sales performance, gross margin, inventory turnover &; GMROI. Manages category success in season by ensuring on time vendor delivery and troubleshooting issues in supply chain, providing weekly recaps to the team and determining action plans for trending items as well as exit strategies for slow sellers. Ensures store teams are aligned with category strategy by communicating new items and programs monthly. Completes competitive shops to ensure Academy’s EDLP value proposition as well as identify potential gaps in assortments. Studies competitor’s omnichannel and in store marketing strategies and suggests ways to maintain our category dominance or improve our merchandising and marketing plans.
