Restaurant Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist @ As a restaurant recruiter, I am mainly responsible for sourcing and recruiting restaurant managers and sous chefs for our eleven locations through social media, attending job fairs, posting ads to job boards and building a pipeline of future candidates. I also assist in sourcing and recruiting for hourly positions when needed and for new store openings. I implemented Taleo, our applicant tracking system and am responsible for the system administration. I handle unemployment administration, our employee newsletter, reporting through our HRIS and other systems, employment verifications, interviewing, employee file maintenance, offer letters and new manager orientation. I also lead the Administrative Assistant bi-monthly meetings by setting up the yearly agendas and training. I am responsible for basic HR training for new Administrative Assistants, including FMLA, HIPAA, ATS training and new hire documentation training. From January 2011 to Present (5 years) Restaurant Administrative Assistant and Banquet Coordinator @ Responsibilities included, but not limited to processing daily sales, invoicing, maintaining employee files, training of new administrative assistants for the company, coordinating private banquets, safe auditing/cash reconciliation, daily sales and labor tracking and special event coordination. From April 2006 to April 2011 (5 years 1 month) Restaurant Manager @ Responsible for training, scheduling, and running the day to day operations of a high volume restaurant. Oversaw food and beverage operations for a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week distribution center. Primarily responsible for client satisfaction, working within tight budgetary requirements, managing a staff of 11 for a two shift, 6 day operation and creating and implementing action plans to meet a subsidy cap. Also responsible for implementing several processes to improve security controls, cost controls and client satisfaction including cash handling procedures, personal time off and vacation tracking, purchasing budgets, job descriptions, scheduling and cleaning assignments, promotional calendars and a growth plan for the upcoming fiscal year. Successfully negotiated a sub-contract to save the company a forecasted loss of $55K.

Developed cycle menus for café and bi-annual catering menus. Exhibited new menus through expos. Ordered and inventoried food items, smallwares, and office supplies. Successfully negotiated a contract extension and met contractual obligations. Surpassed budgeted sales quarterly by implementation of a retail business plan, reviewed quarterly. Implemented a proprietary, web based, automated process of booking conference rooms, audio visual equipment and catered events to ensure efficiency and eliminate double booking of conference rooms.
