I focus my practice on general civil litigation, with a heavy concentration in landlord-tenant law. I regularly appear in New Jersey Superior Court and municipal court. As Union City’s former Tenants’ Advocacy Attorney, I represented and counselled hundreds of tenants facing eviction on almost every ground, including non-payment, rent increases, habitual late payment, condominium conversions, illegal apartments, breach of lease or rules and regulations, disorderly conduct, destruction or damage to the premises, refusal to accept unreasonable lease changes, and others. I have also prosecuted cases on behalf of tenants for the return of security deposits, illegal lockouts, and rent overpayments. I also served as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph R. Rosa, Jr., Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage, Law Division, Special Civil Part. After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in political science from Saint Peter’s University, I attended Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, I was an intern with the Honorable Maurice J. Gallipoli, A.J.S.C., Hudson Vicinage, as well as the Hudson and Essex County Prosecutors’ Offices. I also worked as a real estate agent in Hudson County and continue to hold a New Jersey real estate license.
