Assumed the responsibilities of Interim VP of Academic Affairs, Locums and subsequent full time coverage arrangement for a growing Pediatric Surgery Service. Served on multiple committees and as Director of the Catheterization Lab for two and a half years. Returned to Nashville to start a group practice at Nashville Memorial Hospital where directed the first Catheterization Lab and served as a Clinical Instructor at Vanderbilt, maintaining a strong clinical relationship there for many years. After approximately twenty years, relocated to Destin, Florida to start a cardiology practice there and to begin part time Medical Director work. Assumed multiple clinical leadership roles becoming more engaged in growing administrative responsibilities over the next eight years.
