I'm an intrinsically motivated and inquisitive social connector who has a passion for leveraging Big Data and analytics to optimize marketing strategies. W.E.B. DuBois once said “when you have mastered numbers, you will in fact no longer be reading numbers, any more than you read words when reading books - you will be reading meanings.” My love of numbers as well as my passion for marketing has currently led to an accelerated interest in Marketing Mix Modeling. I manipulate data and develop statistical models to help companies optimize their marketing plans. In my opinion, the marketing industry is at an inflection point and rather than maintain a stagnant, static approach to marketing, the role Big Data plays in the decision-making process will continue to expand. The importance of data fluency and analytic proficiency will grow in tandem with this demand and mastering each of these skillsets is something I’m genuinely excited about.
