During my time at the Trust, traffic to the website rose by 28% thanks to my introduction of a Twitter and Facebook page. I led on PR activity for the events that the Trust hosted, some of the press highlights include interviews on ITN London (16/02/10), a live interview on BBC East Midlands (31/03/10) with Dame Kelly and a 2 minute package on ITV Central (31/03/10). I was In charge of Dame Kelly’s and other retired elite athletes time with the press at events the charity hosted. I left to further pursue my interest in public relations and sport.
