I have a strong interest and passion for Human Resources.
I have experience in both the public and private sector and my time in HR so far has taught me two important things. Firstly, that I enjoy working with people and the variety of talents and ideas that they bring to the workplace. And secondly, that good HR management can improve the quality of staff and ensure improved performance of an organisation.
I have previously worked on an international basis covering all aspects of HR across Europe and Asia Pacific.
In my current position I am responsible for overseeing the recruitment function at the University of London and providing comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers. I also provide support to the HR senior management team on operational and strategic projects aligned to the HR and overall business strategies.

Eliminating paper short-listing and giving management training on how to effectively use the system. New starters details could also be pulled through from NHS jobs to ESR in order to reduce manual input of personal details.
• In charge of recruiting a Non-Executive Director to the board, liaised with the HR Director and other Directors around the Trust.
• Organised inductions for new staff members; liaising with managers who gave talks and ensuring all staff received the right training. (Medical vs. non-medical staff attended different induction modules).
