HSEQ Director Norway @ Subsea 7 is a seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry worldwide.
I currently work as the Norway HSEQ Director in Subsea 7. In this role I am accountable for planning, coordinating and delivery of all HSEQ activities in Norwegian operations. This position is a key member of the country management team and reports directly to the Norway Vice President. In this role I am responsible for developing and maintaining a positive HSEQ culture throughout the country while maintaining an efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective management and delivery of the function's activities. The HSEQ Director provides strategic direction, leadership, supervision and mentoring to the country management team in all HSEQ activities. From December 2012 to Present (3 years) Corporate Quality and Business Improvement Director @ In the position as Corporate Director of Quality and Business Improvement at Subsea 7 I was responsible for all strategic aspects of Quality and Business Improvement within the company and reported directly to the Corporate Vice President HSEQ and Business Improvement.
In this role I had the responsibility to oversee the development, maintenance and continual improvement of the Business Management System (BMS), to develop and maintain the global Quality Control and Quality Assurance prosesses, monitor and follow-up operational Quality performance across all company locations and drive Business Improvement initiatives throughout the company.
The position is responsible for proactively interfacing with functional leads in all company locations and business units to ensure conformity of business processes across all business areas and projects. From January 2011 to December 2012 (2 years) Aberdeen, United KingdomGroup Quality Manager @ In this position I was accountable for the effective management of Group Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Document Control; ensuring effective delivery of Quality Management & Improvement support to all projects and departments within the Group. The Quality Manager position reported directly to the VP HSEQ and was a member of the HSEQ management team. From February 2010 to January 2011 (1 year) Regional Quality Manager @ Acergy (prior to the merger with Subsea 7) was a seabed-to-surface engineering and construction contractor for the offshore oil and gas industry worldwide. In this position I worked as the Quality Manager for Northern Eurpoe and Canada. The role was responsible for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments in Aberdeen and Stavanger, working to ensure effective operational quality management within all regional projects. This position reported directly to the regional HSEQ Director.
I also managed the TAQL program (Total Acergy Quality Leadership). As such I worked with and facilitate quality related improvement initiatives (re-engineering work). I also facilitated and led strategic management sessions within the territory.
