I'm a developer, I have tried my hand at just about all of computer science including software design, UI/UX design, app development, web development, database, testing etc. Recently I have been doing a good bit of work on DevOp's, which has been a brilliant new challenge. I generally pride myself on being as multifunctional as possible. I'm very commercially aware and I spend a huge amount of my time reading articles and books.
Software Engineer @ For the last 6 months I have been working with the UK Gov on a security platform. The security platform is designed to ensure better security and a higher level of identity assurance. Our aim is to protect the citizens of the United Kingdom from online threats foreign and domestic. From November 2014 to Present (1 year 1 month) Belfast, United KingdomSensei and Developer @ When I'm in Sligo I like to keep myself as busy as possible which includes mentoring our future overlords at CoderDojo Sligo. It's great fun and it's good to give kids an opportunity I always wanted when I was their age. Its a great experience and loads of fun.

My responsibilities include:
• Helping my fellow students expand their development abilities for the Microsoft platform
• Organizing events
• Working with my fellow partners on a wide array of issues including coming up with ways to help fellow students on how to expand their development opportunities. From 2012 to September 2014 (2 years) Trainee Software Engineer @ Kainos have an environment in which they allow you to work on other innovative ideas and projects yourself. Along with my standard duties I worked regularly on other side projects that interested me, projects like Code Camp and App Camp for teaching young people how to create and build technology, Health Hack EU a hackathon getting developers and medical professionals together from all over Ireland and more.

From June 2012 to June 2014 (2 years 1 month) Belfast, United KingdomTeam lead, Technical Architect and Web developer @ For my third year project I worked with a team 3 fellow developers as part of a joint venture by 2 companies Locus Insight and Ensen from the Business Innovation Center at IT Sligo on a project called Ensight. The idea behind the project was to create an Environmental sensor monitoring system. The companies were great to work with and the project was very interesting, it was a great experience. From September 2012 to March 2013 (7 months) Web Developer for ITSligo.ie @ During 3rd year at IT Sligo I worked with the International Office to expand their web presence on the IT Sligo Website under the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Computing and Creative Practices Keith McManus.
During the project I:
• Gathered requirements and created mock designs using the IT Sligo design guidelines
• Used Agile methodologies with constant iterative feedback from the customer
• Up skilled the staff with some technical skills for managing the pages and other social media outlets for maintenance.

http://sligoweekender.ie/2012/09/30/divas-perform-for-charity/ From October 2012 to December 2012 (3 months) Finalist in the prestigious Kainos App Camp @ In 2011 I manage to qualify for App Camp which was a competition where over 100 applicants were dwindled down to 25 for the first 2 weeks and then dwindled down the the final 6 people which I was a part of for the final 6 weeks.
During AppCamp I learned such skills as:
