A well-educated and highly experienced commercial expert with over 35 years’ experience in contract and subcontract administration across a broad range of engineering industries. These included iron and steel, oil and gas (O&G), nuclear clean-up, mining and metals, renewable energy, clean and waste water treatment (WWT), chemical and power generation. Experience working with a range of standard engineering forms of contract including I Chem E, MF1, FIDIC and NEC3 and I have been involved in supporting a number of disputes that have been referred to adjudication, arbitration and mediation.
Experience working in integrated teams, to demanding schedules, with proven leadership and communication skills, good decision making abilities and whilst enjoying the respect of those I work with both up, down and across the organisation. My career to date demonstrates that I relish the opportunity to take on new challenges, working in new situations. I feel fortunate that even after working over 35 years in the engineering industry that I am still as enthusiastic about my job as when I started my career. I am looking forward to many more enjoyable years to come and continuing to make a positive contribution to the challenges that both companies and the industry as a whole will face in delivering projects.
