The automated system can also be used to generate recommended min / max levels according to prior sales and market trends. The implementation of this project saved one remote DC an average of $30,000 per month on buyouts. Their buyout percentage dropped from 60% to under 20%.• Developed a daemon in Navision that allows automated processing. These processes include the movement of transactions and data between Navision and external SQL tables.• Created UDFs, stored procedures and triggers for Navision.• Converted a legacy cost and price tracking system into SQL. Navision uses this VB dll application as an interface into the external SQL database.• Launched Navision Financials for 6 DC.• Created user manuals for Navision.• Created DTS packages to replace sections of legacy Clipper code for uploading NAGS data into Navision, external SQL tables and legacy Clipper applications.• Reduced accounting expenses 5% by providing account analysis reports.• Optimized 25 monthly accounting reports that reduced processing time from an average of 90 minutes to 5 minutes apiece.• Responsible for the design, development and launch of an inventory tracking, cost and price system for 28 retail locations.
