I have had the pleasure of working on vehicle builds for SEMA & MERA. I have traveled the country attending automotive seminars and shows learning, displaying and networking. I took it upon myself to create and develop a new marketing plan as well as offered my assistance to create a budget for Starwood Customs with the accounting team. I negotiated costs with suppliers to bring all 12 volt product ordering & installation in-house which the dealership had been farming out to a third party, this process increased quality control, offered better options for clients and increased the accessory profit margin for the dealership by 40%. I used my skills and talents for new business development to align Starwood Customs with some of the top aftermarket companies in the automotive industry (Alpine, sPOD, VPR 4x4 & Baja Designs) allowing us to offer the best products for our clients. Starwood Customs participated in Dallas area fashion shows, car meets, celebrity based & charity fundraising events as well as coordinated two music video shoots onsite. I used my network of automotive connections to create the black customized Ford Fiesta to market & promote Sony Mobile Audio. The vehicle featured sponsored items from Sony, Eibach suspension, Flowmaster exhaust, Toyo tires, Caliper Covers, Odyssey Batteries, Stinger & Roadwire leather. The vehicle was well received and made it's debut at the MERA Knowledgefest and it was invited to be shown to Ford executives at the Plano Ford headquarters. For our sponsor, Flowmaster, a video of the vehicle was taken and has received over 50,000 views on Youtube.

I also determined which endeavors were making a profit. Using specialized computer programs, spreadsheets & blue prints, I determined the quantity of materials and the labor required to complete the firm’s part of the project.

From December 2000 to April 2001 (5 months) General manager @ Handled all aspects of daily operations for an international chemical coatings manufacturer with annual sales in excess of $400,000.00.
