I've been helping companies acquire top talent in the Bay Area since 1997. I began my career on the agency side, founded an engineering recruiting agency and proceeded to work in-house for Riverbed, Google and Twitter. Next was an a16z start-up called Illumio where I was the first recruiter in the door and built their recruiting program from the ground up.
I'm now building upon the exceptional foundation of Meteor as we experience exponential growth in our web development platform.
It's not just about talent acquisition anymore. There's so much more.
Expertise: Recruiting team building, training and mentoring as well as the ability to roll up my sleeves and be hands on with sourcing and recruiting.
Recruiting verticals: Engineering/executive sourcing/recruiting, International & non-engineering sourcing/recruiting and university recruiting. Each of these verticals I have been hands on, as well as built and managed pipelines from the ground up.
Director of Talent @ Building the Future with Meteor... From June 2015 to Present (5 months) San Francisco Bay AreaDirector of Recruiting @ Joined in the first 30 employees, hired to build Illumio's Recruiting program from the ground up. - Creating successful messaging to recruit while in stealth mode.

Twitter Sourcing sourced/recruited across the entire company and pivoted to critical needs as necessary. While the focus is primarily engineering, sourcing has also supported International, leadership and non-engineering (particularly sales). From February 2012 to September 2013 (1 year 8 months) San Francisco Bay AreaLeadership Sourcer / Recruiter @ I work directly for Google Executive Management to find and recruit elite leaders in Software Engineering and Engineering Operations.
The hiring process involves partnering directly with Google Executives to create and define a custom hiring strategy. The process includes defining the job specs, identifying potential candidate sources and candidate wish-list, reaching out to cold candidates, building a hiring profile for each candidate and tracking all candidates and their status through the recruiting cycle.
Focus is on new candidate identification and engagement, which includes sourcing via high level networking, in depth internet search techniques and cold calling / emailing.
