During my years at GDIT I have acted as software engineer, technical lead, project and program manager and principle investigator. My current role on projects is as a project manager also providing engineering design and product vision.
Development in my group is in Java for Windows and Red Hat Enterprise LINUX platforms, using Service Oriented Architecture. My teams have worked extensively in Virtualized Environments. During my early career I used C, and object oriented design and development with C++.
I am a certified SCRUM Master. All projects in my office use an Agile process model.
We use Jenkins for continuous build and integration, Sonar for static code analysis and Cobertura to track code coverage of unit tests.
Projects I’ve supported have been for both operational systems as well as R&D projects for the Office of Navy Research.

Created customer financial reports for Business Managers and CFOs. Wrote ABAP/4 object dependency and function module code to design manufactured products. Team improved run times by 25-50 percent. Developed business tools with ABAP/4 per customer specifications for production planning, accounting, and credit management needs. Resolved high priority help desk technical issues for newly implemented SAP system. Wrote ABAP/4 code to complete large-scale database conversion and table loads. Created ABAP/4 solutions for clients Variant Configurator product design software. From June 1998 to February 2001 (2 years 9 months) Mechanical Engineer @ Conceived, designed, and developed application to design/configure vertical probe cards. Windows and DOS based application developed in C. Result: Reduced product cost, rework and time to market.
