such as Accenture (Libra System Integrator) and Fujitsu (Libra Office Automation Provider).
Representing the company at weekly Technical Working Group meetings and monthly Project board meetings to
provide advice, guidance and taking the lead in proposing and delivering technical solutions.

Although a member of the New Business Development team, my technical expertise was required to undertake the
Ported the Motorola 6800 EQUIS system to Intel Windows 2000. I successfully ported the existing EQUIS system
from a Motorola chipset to Intel Windows 2000. This involved designing, developing and testing an automated utility
that scanned and made syntactically correct changes to the source code. The Intel-based EQUIS system was then
deployed and pilot tested at Cambridge Magistrates Court and after a period of stability was rolled out as a product
that could be purchased and deployed to other Magistrates Courts throughout the UK.
Developed a prototype which allowed external agencies such as Police, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) et al to
allow access to the EQUIS System using Web Services. On the job, I had to learn how to develop in Microsoft .NET
(C sharp) which connected to a SQL Server database. The prototype was taken a step further by allowing these
external agencies to enter a criminal case and to print off court lists.
Designed and Implemented Wide Area Networks (WANs) for both Staffordshire Magistrates Court Service and
Merseyside Magistrates Courts.
Acting as the company's troubleshooter. From January 1998 to January 2002 (4 years 1 month) Technical Analyst @ Reporting to the Technical Director, although still involved with developing and maintaining the EQUIS system, my
role and responsibilities started to move in the direction of Research and Development. Over and above that of a
Senior Programmer, my responsibilities included:
Designing and implementing the company's first TCP/IP based network.
Designing and Implementing a Wide Area network (WAN) to connect all magistrates courts throughout Norfolk.
Providing Consultancy and Training to the company's engineering department that allowed them to install networks.
