Whilst at FDM training offices I completed three major projects listed below,
Bank Teller Simulation - Application developed in Java demonstrating Object Orientated design principals including Polymorphism and Inheritance. The project utilised SQL queries and JDBC for persistent storage of data.
Registration Project – A dynamic web project completed using JSP and Servlets where users register their details which are then saved to a SQL database, the project involved the use of HTML, CSS and Javascript, for the Display and client side verification and Servlets for the server side verification, in addition to JQuery API for some interaction elements.
Error Reporting – A web project where users can submit an error report to a database, JSP and Servlets were used including JSTL and finally deployed on to an Apache Tomcat server.
Error Reporting with Portlets – A web project done using portlets, utilising the OpenPortal’s Open portal Container as the container. From August 2010 to December 2013 (3 years 5 months) Manchester, United KingdomIT Consultant @ I worked on the Personal Internet Banking & Business Internet banking platform, delivering new functionality for the business.
Worked hard with a global team in developing a new portal based Internet Banking system using Websphere Portal Server, utilising in house Spring-like technology for rapid development. From November 2010 to July 2011 (9 months) Sheffield, United KingdomMobile Test Analyst @ Worked at Intec, a mobile phone repair shop dealing with distribution and repair of mobile phones, tasks included conducting tests on mobile phones by testing functionality and performance using manual and automated testing in addition to assisting other members of staff on larger projects when needed. From July 2003 to August 2003 (2 months)
