(1)Communications Skills- As a member of Toastmasters International and specifically Metropolitan Toastmaster Club #1696, and having taken multiple courses in communications I feel that I have developed well above average oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. (2) Analytical Skills- Having taken many courses thus far in my pursuit of a degree in Business Administration I have researched, analyzed, and interpreted a large amount of information and data. That coupled with my previous eight years of on the job experience as an electrician coordinating job tasks with other trades and installing electrical apparatus has significantly increased both my mechanical and analytical abilities. (3)Computer & Technical Literacy- I have previously taken a class on all of Microsoft Office's programs from MS Word to MS Access. Microsoft Excel is a program that I use on a daily basis and I am very familiar with it in particular. (4) Adaptability and Multitasking- As an electrician my job functions, duties, roles, and responsibilities would change on a daily and sometimes hourly basis. On many occasions I would be required to go to another jobsite, switch functions in the middle of performing a task, troubleshoot an electrical problem, and work on multiple tasks at the same time. Adaptability and multitasking is required of electricians and is one of my greatest skills I have to offer.

Also, I would work off of ladders or in trenches in indoor and outdoor locations, bending conduit, pulling wire, splicing wire, making terminations in panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, and bus duct. Their objective isn't to strictly maximize sales, but to fit the customer with the appropriate product. This not only (1) helps prevent cognitive dissonance but (2) increases customer satisfaction and loyalty, which in turn generates greater revenue and profitability.
As a Sales Associate at Northern Tool my main responsibility was to assist customers in finding their "fit" product. Although, as time went by working there I was cross-trained so I could perform other operational tasks such as: cashiering, shipping and receiving, forklift operations, and closing out registers.
