This was a system wide feature involving Motorola switching and handset products, as well as a third party vendor. In addition to development, I was solely responsible for performing Interoperability Testing with the third party vendor.· Responsible for the development of additional key features for the SMSC application using UML and Rational Rose for design modelling and C/C++ for implementation. This also contributed to the GSM Systems Division overall goal of 600 test cases automated by 2Q04.· Assisted in software and hardware upgrades of the UMTS core network. Worked from 4am-noon during the test cycle to coordinate testing efforts with colleagues in Bangalore, India.· Assisted senior level engineers in testing the Government mandated features, E911, Local Number Portability, and CALEA. Executed test cases and collected logs for debugging purposes.
