Although my qualifications are as a Computer Science graduate, and I have a background in software engineering and Internet Service Provider technology, I have spent the last 20 years building and running technology companies. During this time I have held the roles of Technical Director, CTO, CIO and CEO. I have a passion for technology, and the empowerment the Internet can provide to all people. The underlying vision of everything being interconnected has driven me to start two Internet businesses: the first, ZipWorld, specialized in access provision in the 1990s, and was successfully sold in 1999; the second, Bulletproof, was started in 2000 in order to empower Businesses to use the Internet effectively by providing managed services. After specialising in Managed Hosting in 2006, Bulletproof is now the leading and fastest growing Managed Cloud Services company in Australia. During 2013, I was instrumental in taking the company public, resulting in its successful ASX listing in January 2014 (ASX:BPF). As CEO of Bulletproof, I focus on Corporate and Technical strategy for the business, while acting as an Executive Director and liaising with the investor community. My passion remains, burning as brightly as ever: Cloud, ubiquitously available globally, is the clear counterpane to universal Internet access for users and customers everywhere.
