My focus is on the lateral recruitment of Partners and senior level fee-earners into law firms in London. My practice covers both contingent recruitment and also search exercises on behalf of firms who are seeking strategic lateral hires across a range of disciplines. I have spent almost 20 years in the City, working alongside or on behalf of private practice lawyers and firms. This has given me an excellent knowledge of the London legal market and a deep understanding of the needs of both lawyers and law firms. In my dealings with clients and candidates my approach is always to be honest, discreet, pragmatic and straightforward. I aim to build long term relationships and to keep each process as constructive and transparent as possible; provide solutions and understand the expectations on all sides. I started my legal recruitment career at Hudson in 2003 and subsequently worked at First Counsel from 2005 to 2014. I joined Laurence Simons in 2015. Prior to recruitment, I qualified as a corporate lawyer at Eversheds in London in 1997. After 2 years in private practice I moved in-house to Numis Securities, working on ECM and corporate finance transactions.
