Front-End Developer @ - Implemented the new version of Feedly Mini, a Google Chrome extension rated 5 stars on the Chrome Store with 300,000+ users.
- Built simplefollow.org, an open-source tool allowing users to very easily and intuitively subscribe to any RSS feed.
- Redesigned the user experience of several pages, working very closely with the designers, which led to better conversion from users and higher retention numbers. From March 2014 to Present (1 year 8 months) Palo AltoTraveler and Blogger @ I traveled from Mexico to Nicaragua in 370 days. By hitchhiking, wild-camping and surviving on a $10 daily budget. Daily activities included eating coconuts from the tree, spending time in nature and talking to strangers on the street.
Now I'll try to make that sound professional:
- Developed negotiation skills through daily contact with sellers in markets throughout Central America.
- Learned how to adapt to unanticipated situations and improvize new plans due to periodic travel accidents and unexpected events.
- Developed budgeting and planning skills by financing, planning, organizing my year around the different countries.
- Cultivated language and communication skills through contact with people from around the world. Learned to use non-verbal and verbal communication to overcome communication and language barriers.

- Spent the other 90% at work reading books about startups and psychology on the internet. From July 2013 to December 2013 (6 months) Nice Area, FranceTechnical Manager @ - Led a 9-member team on performing general maintenance on ~30 physical/virtual servers.
