Qafqaz Universiteti

Qafqaz University was founded in 1993 with the decree of Azerbaijani National Assembly and the approval of Council of Ministers. This way, Turkish specialists started their voluntary contributions to educational services through Cag Educational in Azerbaijan after its independence. Qafqaz University is an authorized ETS Centre that offers TOEFL iBT examinations, a CISCO Networking Academy, and a member of BSUN. Qafqaz University is the first and only higher educational institution which received the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate in Azerbaijan. The educational programs of western universities have been taken as a model in preparing the curriculum and are continually updated. In doing so, the university has been offering the credit point system since day 1. The University offers B.A, M.A., M.Sc., MBA and doctoral programs as well as joint M.A. and MSc programs with universities from the States and Europe. There are currently about 2600 students in all the programs and the intention is to reach 5000 when the campus construction is finalized.
