Software Engineering Intern @ • Worked in C++ Compiler Optimization Team and focused on GCC optimization. • Participated an independent project to tune up AutoFDO performance for ARM architecture. Built Control Flow Graph from binary and designed several algorithms to propagate sampling data for AutoFDO profile. From May 2015 to August 2015 (4 months) San Francisco Bay AreaSoftware Development Intern @ • Participated in a research project optimizing speed and memory of LLVM compiler in intermediate representation generation and contributed to the open-source community. • Mainly took responsibility for research on function-based optimization method of parallel LLVM backend code-gen. Realized and tested several methods to speed-up the compiling and decrease the memory cost. From August 2013 to June 2014 (11 months) Undergraduate Research Assistant @ • Focused on Virtualization, Scheduling and High-performance Computing. • Proposed a light-weight framework for virtualized GPU-CPU hybrid resource management in cloud together. --- Designed and realized two scheduling policies, respectively minimizing resource occupation and assuring better control accuracy of GPU-CPU resource. --- Demonstrated and evaluated the management efficiency of the framework. --- Accomplished related paper. • Designed adaptive Multi-resource allocation methods of virtualized GPU-CPU scheduling in cloud service.
