I’m the President of SmartLogic (http://smartlogic.io/), a consulting company that builds custom web and mobile-based software.
My approach to business and life is to always find the simplest way to generate the best results, which serves SmartLogic well as we convert client ideas into robust, fully-featured applications. Guided by this emphasis on simplicity, our agile process is perfect for funded startups and other clients that need to develop web/mobile-based products that quickly adapt to the unpredictable needs of their clients and users.
Strictly speaking SmartLogic is technology-agnostic; however, we specialize in Ruby on Rails, iOS, Android, HTML5, and JavaScript.
We are currently hiring technical talent, and are always looking to talk to smart people with positive attitudes.
SmartLogic and I have been featured in publications such as Baltimore Business Journal, Baltimore Sun, Fortune Magazine, SmartCEO and various other local publications.
I received BS/MSE degrees in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.
Outside of business, I lead a very active lifestyle. Current activities: traveling, running, biking, squash, piano, sailing, reading, flying (Cessna 172’s). Previous activities: rugby, golf, tennis, football, basketball, soccer.
I love to travel and try to visit a couple new countries every year. In recent trips I’ve been to North Korea, China, Morocco, Iran, Wales (where half my family resides), Israel (where the other half resides), UAE, Jordan, Brazil, and various countries in Europe.
I’m always interested in connecting with smart, active people who are making things happen. If you’re interested in talking about technology, travel, or anything else, please get in touch.
President @ As President of SmartLogic, I guide a team to build web and mobile applications for our clients. Our clients range from funded startups like OrderUp, Spotcrime, and NewsUp to large organizations like Stanley Black & Decker.
