Joined the electronic industry since 1986 where I began my career at Deskin Sales in Sales Support. I learnt to like our industry during the 6 years at Deskin where I was promoted to Account Manager. Worked at Votron Electronics from 1992 to 1994 as Account Manger and Territory Manager, Joined Ohmage Technologies in July 1994 to begin the building of a new Electronic Rep Firm where I remained until December 2006. Worked at CanaREP as the Vice-president of Sales and Marketing until the owner decided to retire and close the Eastern operations. Met David Zimet and Paul Campeau owners of Orion Technologies in January 2008 and we have built a strong friendship and business relationship. I cover the Ottawa market. We work hard with the OEMs and distributors to ensure our market is being professionally covered. Orion has seen tremdous growth since 2008 and continues to work hard to promote and increase sales for the manufacturers we represent in the Canadian Market.

Orion Technologies is a Canadian Wide Representative who has been in business since 1996. We have AEs in BC, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal covering all major territories in Canada. From January 2008 to Present (8 years) Vice-president Marketing and Sales @ Was responsible for the Eastern Canada including sales, marketing and supplier relationships. Also was the Distributor coordinator for CanaREP. Covered the Quebec and Ottawa markets working with OEMs and distributors to design in product. From January 2006 to January 2008 (2 years 1 month) Vice-president Sales & Marketing @ Built up a Rep Firm from a start up and with limited backing. Company covered the Eastern Canada and grew to 6.5 million in 2004. Had the opportunity to work with some excellent people including Didier Sansoni a loyal hard working employee. The ending was not pleasant but for 11 years I enjoyed the experience. From 1994 to 2006 (12 years) Regional Manager @ Covered the Quebec and Ottawa markets. Grew sales so that the Quebec operations could expand to a full office with 2 AEs and a Sales Support person. Brought on several new suppliers. From July 1992 to July 1994 (2 years 1 month) Account Manager @ Began my career here and I will always have special memories working with excellent people and learning our industry. Deskin was the first place that gave me a shot to grow and after 2 years in Sales Support was promoted to Account Manager. Many thanks to Al Deskin, Hugh and Sheldon for the opportunity to prove quite a few suppliers wrong. The industry was different than CM were just starting in 1990s and fax was how you got POs.
