Vincent's 15 year career ranges from working with tech startups to large corporations, and includes living and working globally in the USA, the EU and Russia throughout his career. Vincent is a product owner and leads teams while staying fully engaged in delivering new products while owning vision and strategy across portfolios, including full P&L responsibility. From 2012 to Present (3 years) Seattle, WAHead of Product - Cart, Checkout, Payments @ Led the e-commerce online experience product management teams owning Cart, Checkout, Payments and Layaway for Sears.com and Kmart.com (over 10 million combined visitors per month), ranked in the top ten of online visits and retail revenue with hundreds of millions of unique visitors per year.
Full ownership cart-to-order buy flow and conversion on Sears.com and Kmart.com; led overall online vision, strategy and roadmap of each experience for cart, checkout, payments, and layaway.
My teams and I were responsible for new product development, business cases, a/b and multivariate testing, user stories and metrics on these sites by partnering with engineering and user experience design teams to deliver a product that is intuitive, satisfies customer needs, and delivers an amazing experience. Development followed the agile software development methodology. Began migration from IBM WebSphere e-commerce platform to open source platform. From 2013 to 2014 (1 year) Chicago, ILProduct - Monetization and Retention @ Responsible for monetization efforts, homepage experimentation and social interaction with the highly visited MSN homepage (500 million readers in 2012) and in-product advertising (internal house ads) throughout the site. In addition, led all activity for promoting setting MSN.com as the default homepage on browsers (banner creative, copy, landing pages, incentives, what is promoted, etc.), updating multi-screen video experiences, media partnerships, and GTM efforts for social media activities such as msnNOW.
Further responsibilities include ideation on new features, user flow, site experimentation (a/b testing), iterative functionality changes from testing learnings, and go-to-market activities before/after launching new experiences. Focused on innovative user experiences to drive increased page visits, more page views per visit throughout site, default homepage sets, increasing ad revenues and social media sharing opportunities. From 2011 to 2013 (2 years) Redmond, WADirector of Product - Mobile Video Portal and Storefront @ Led product management and owned global product strategy for a multi-million dollar digital movie delivery video portal and platform (SaaS Content Delivery solution for customers to publish, deliver, and manage digital assets and storefront for consumers to rent, purchase and subscribe to movies and TV shows). Partnership work included negotiating with studios and content companies for digital television and movie streaming and download rights.
In addition to B2B2C applications, this white label portal gave consumers the ability to consume video on multiple platforms for anytime, anywhere viewing of television, movies and snack-size video via online storefronts and mobile apps. From TV Everywhere support to recommendation engine capabilities to multi-screen experiences, we led the way in the early development of online video.
Customers included media companies and mobile operators. Launched MetroPCS MetroSTUDIO and Verizon VCast mobile video apps as well as other launches during my tenure. From 2007 to 2010 (3 years) Seattle, WAVice President of Product / Managing Director - Mobile Practice @ Key leader of this boutique consulting firm who developed the Mobile Practice and led a global team of consultants and analysts focused on the e-commerce and mobile industries in the U.S., Europe and Asia (both large corporations and small startups).
