I co-founded Zagster in 2007, after being inspired by the launch of the Velib’ bike sharing service in Paris. I merged my background in corporate IT at a Fortune 500 company with my passion for biking to create a company that now leverages technology to make bikes accessible to hundreds of thousands of Americans. I have never owned car, prefer bicycling and take public transportation everywhere I can.
As CEO of Zagster, I have raised more than $2 million in funding from leading venture capitalists, such as Fontinalis Partners (the venture arm of Ford Chairman Bill Ford), and angel investors, including the first investor in Zipcar. I have led many of the sales and business development efforts, securing partnerships with global brands as well as leading real estate developers and universities.
I am a proud graduate of Drexel University and recently received the Young Alumni Entrepreneur Award. I have a deep passion for the fast-growing startup community in Boston, and regularly help and mentor other companies. I love teaching others about my start-up experience and regularly speak at universities and other educational institutions.
