As the Executive Vice President of Platform & Data Services for Concur, Tim MacDonald leads the company’s initiatives to foster an ecosystem of TMC’s, suppliers, and 3rd party apps that create value for clients, their employees and the travel suppliers who support them.
Prior to joining Concur, Tim served in a variety of executive roles at Expedia, Inc. including Senior Vice President and General Manager of Expedia.com where he led Expedia’s largest business unit, as well as the global product management function for Expedia Worldwide. He also served as the Chairman and President of Classic Vacations, the leading luxury travel provider in the US, and as Vice President of Product Management at Hotwire as the company grew from an early stage startup to $2Bn growth engine for Expedia.
Previously, Tim led C-level strategy consulting engagements with Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in general engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
