Professionally I enjoy everything to do with technology. I am very involved in the security community and have followed its evolution for the last 15 years. While on the job I perform a variety of functions that include security, networking, linux admin, programming to automate tasks (via python) and auditing. At my core I am an operations guy and love troubleshooting complex problems. I love resolving major outages and troubleshooting complicated scenarios. This is honestly my favorite part of my job.
I believe one of the strongest values that a good engineer should possess in the current IT industry is to constantly learn. Keeping your skill sets current with the changing technologies are what excite me and keep me passionate. I enjoy learning and find myself reading technical books and taking certifications as a hobby.
