By managing a team of highly skilled Code Monkeys, extremely creative Design Peacocks and slightly OCD Application Developer Chameleons, Geek Girl knows what it takes to beat out all competitors in design, quality, and development. Work Hard, Play Often. We work remote from whatever location we feel most creative because this allows us to save money by not employing a dancing interpreter and over priced zoo-a-tariums and pass that savings into great prices for our customers to have great products!
We provide high-quality services for individuals, small companies, corporations, education and non-profit organizations. We haven’t yet had the opportunity to work for zoos, monarchies or space aliens, but we welcome the challenge with peaked curiosity.
In 2014 we expanded yet again, and now offer services in mobile application development, Facebook applications and game development. We have discontinued our remedial finger painting and spelunking adventure classes.
As the Grand Monkey Maven, my daily juggling act includes:
* Oversee full lifecycle application development and ensure best-in-class methodology & tools for application design and development and user/system interface applications.
* Maintaining standards for system design across multiple development platforms. Sometimes we use Legos.
* Manage application development in accordance to customer demands. The use of whips and chains was just a silly rumor.
* Ensure consistent development activities and execution to project schedules and tracking development effort against estimations. This requires a lot of Starbucks and proficient reading of Mountain Dew stained time sheets with “sorta” close numbers and dice throws.
* Review and sign off on completeness, accuracy, and feasibility of functional requirements and technical design. Check Please! From March 1994 to Present (21 years 10 months) BigFix SME @ Served as IBM Subject Matter Expert during the transition of BigFix product and company.
