These resources may be shared by any service or framework, including OpenStack, Hadoop, Spark, and Mesos for better resource efficiency, and streamlined operations. At Piston Cloud I was responsible for Field Sales in the Western U.S. and Europe. I was selling OpenStack private cloud software; hyper-converged compute, storage, networking. I closed the largest two customers in company history in my first two quarters including King Digital Entertainment (creators of Candy Crush). At the time of the Cisco acquisition I was the #1 sales rep in the company. From March 2014 to June 2015 (1 year 4 months) San Francisco Bay AreaDirector of Sales @ Zimbra is the leading open source email, calendaring and collaboration suite, and also provides applications for file sharing and social communities. As one of the first sales reps in Zimbra, accomplishments included: closing Zimbra's first 7-figure deal; exceeding quota 26 consecutive quarters including through several acquisitions; building and growing a channel that included hundreds of resellers, hosting partners & SI's; and growing our Latin America revenue from $0 to several million dollars in annual run rate business. Zimbra was acquired by Yahoo for $350M in Oct 2007, and subsequently acquired by VMware in Feb 2010.
