Stig worked for almost four years as a professional singer before relocating to Sydney to further his career. He commenced employment with media giant News Limited in 2001 initially as an Advertising Sales Consultant before quickly moving into the Learning & Development space. He was a key member of the Training team responsible for the set up and development of the L & D function for the multi-million dollar NewsAdvantage project.
In 2004 he was appointed to the role of Human Resources Manager for the entire NSW direct sales business. Over the next five years he established himself as an innovative and driven Human Resources practitioner, with a strong focus on Employee Capability, Talent Management, Organisational Development and Employee Engagement. Reporting to the General Manager he managed a team of five HR & Learning specialists.
In late 2010 Stig commenced employment with the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd as Human Resources Manager - Talent Management. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources Australia & New Zealand, this role was responsible for heading up all Talent Management activities as well as providing full spectrum HR support across the ANZ operating division of the Bank. He managed a team of two HR specialists.
In July 2013 he joined SBS Australia in a Strategic HR Business Partnering role as part of the People & Culture team reporting to the Director of Human Resources.
His career goal is to continue his professional development in Human Resources and ultimately achieve a HR Director or Head of position.

Was a member of the Opera Chorus in a range of Opera and Concert performances. From January 1997 to January 2000 (3 years 1 month) Store Manager @ Managed the day to day operations of a McDonalds Restuarant including managing staff, employee training, product quality and control, stock management, and recruitment. Completed McDonalds Australia Basic Operations Course. From June 1995 to January 1996 (8 months)
