A great deal of work was required to translate the main solution (Fixed) into meaningful designs for Deployed. Starting with the existing Fixed implementation of a heavily customised Service Desk and defining an approach to integrate this with a number of Deployed Service Desk sites. Keeping data aligned, providing incident replication and designing the interfaces with other applications to create a fully integrated environment, able to operate in an autonomous capacity or, when secure connections existed, communicate back to the main solution.
