She is highly motivated; hardworking, detail oriented, likes to assume leadership roles, and enjoys being a team player.
Sonia has a strong desire to dedicate most of her career designing for animals and Animal Facilities; She is also interested in learning by working on projects that involve: Sustainable Design, Preservation, Interior Architectural Design, Industrial Design, Urban Planning, and working with Non-Profit Organizations.
For her thesis, she focused on the rehabilitation of people with disabilities by introducing them to an alternative holistic care, consisting of service, medical alert, and therapy dogs. Sonia has not only experience with taking care of pets, but she has also educated herself through the years and conducted research with organizations in Northern of California, such as: Canine Companions for Independence, Guide Dogs for the Blind, SF SPCA, Dogs for Diabetics, and the Bergin University.
She knows and understands the importance of the psychological and physical needs of pets; And most importantly, the importance of the positive effects that animals can provide to humans. [Her thesis research covers topics such as: State of the Art Animal Facilities Design - Logical Attributes and Environmental Assessment; as well as Service, Medical Alert, and Therapy Dogs.]
For this reason she opted to form her own business and combine both of her passions: Caring for Animals & Designing for them!
